WHAT DID I LEARN:
→ BTC did exactly what we were talking about in the past 2 weeks. A short term pump and then a major retracement which can be triggered in Jan.
→ Now is the time to look at the alts that are showing strength. We are seeing the perfect rotation of money. Starting from BTC and then ETH and then the alts. This ETH move can catch a lot of people off guard and is a must to look at.
→Bitcoin Ordinals & L2s like ORDI/STX keep outperforming BTC, this is a big narrative until the spot ETF is approved. Ordinals have been a good trade but, there's a chance BTC devs change code to deter ordinal inscriptions, or as they call them spam!
→ Memes are pumping in sync which is not a good sign in the markets. This usually happens at the local top. But it is important to respect the pump while it lasts and play it accordingly.
→ Tokens are currently very sensitive to the news and teases. We have a couple of them coming up this week for example: Polygon, KAVA and Injective.
WHAT CAN I DO:
→ Bitcoin looks extremely heavy and has met all the targets we had. Now we see the final 45k level but it is vital to look for any kind of consolidation so that the alts can pump.
→ Focus on the strength but do not forget about ETH cause finally it broke out of the massive trading range and is currently at the similar levels like BTC at 30k. Major push can come soon!!
→ Buyback ORDI & STX as alpha on the BTC spot ETF narrative, but taking into account that STX has 1h confirmation transactions which cant compete with ETH/SOL & also ORDI is seen as spam by core BTC developers, se there's a small possibility ordinals might one day not exist.
→ Playing the memes is not a bad thing in the current markets while the pump lasts.

“Recession”, “pre-halving dump” - it is all noise
Notice how the volatility is really beginning to pick up now, caveat is that it usually happens towards the end of a move
→ But of course: as things start moving: people begin gambling and opening positions:

Bitcoin related alts keep outperforming the market, we have seen RUNE & ChainFlip with explosive price action last month and now ORDI & STX are in the spotlight, these are likely to outperform BTC until the Spot ETF news.
ORDI
Ordinals protocol is a way to store digital records on the Bitcoin blockchain, and recently had a huge pump, ORDI is the n1 ordinal token! But this and other ordinals are not well received in the btc maxi sphere they see it as SPAM.
